Shops/inventory glitch

This is a little thing that i find extremely annoying. If you are not in your inventory (lets say you are in skills) and you open a shop, the items you have overlay the (in this case) skills. If im not clear enough try it yourself. If its possible to fix, that would be great!

And how would we come across this glitch so we may find and fix it.

he's talking about like.. say your in the quest tab looking at say 'shops'.. then you click it, and forget to switch to inventory tab. you go to trade a shop handler. the inventory, AND the quest tab are both open instead of just the inventory tab.
